Jan Norbert Dubrowin (born 1957 in Piotrków Trybunalski) is a prominent Polish painter and educator. In 1981, he graduated from the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź (now the Academy of Fine Arts), receiving his diploma under Professors Antoni Starczewski and Wiesław Garboliński.
His work is primarily figurative, rooted in the traditions of realism but infused with oneiric and symbolic elements. The artist focuses on studying the human condition—emotions, psyche, and movement—often placing figures in genre scenes or poetic landscapes. In 2006, he was awarded the Bronze Medal for Merit to the City of Piotrków Trybunalski.
