Wojciech Fangor is among the most outstanding contemporary Polish artists of international renown. Co-founder of the Polish Poster School, he gained global fame through abstract compositions based on optical phenomena and color perception. He is the only Polish artist to have had a solo exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. His signature paintings, featuring soft tonal transitions, create the illusion of a pulsating space and are today among the most sought-after works of post-war Polish art.
